Hello and welcome to my blog. My name is Sally Vico, and I’m excited to share this space as part of my Bachelor of Business studies with CQUniversity. Creating a blog is something I never expected to do, yet here I am, diving into new ways of learning, reflecting and connecting with others.

My Professional Background

My career has been shaped by community services and organisational leadership. I’ve always been drawn to roles centered around people, strategy and building strong, supportive teams. While I have learned a great deal through experience, I reached a point where I wanted to expand my formal knowledge and strengthen the frameworks I rely on as a manager.

Why I Returned to Study

Returning to university is my opportunity to upskill, challenge myself and rediscover what learning looks like as an adult balancing work, study and life. Even though I’ve worked with business information for years, I’m realising how much more I want to understand about how organisations function behind the scenes.
